Effie married Billy Crew after she was pregnant with their daughter, Nora (born 1914), and then had two sons, Eric (born 1916) and Gordon (born 1919?).
They lived in London. Bill and Effie separated shortly after Gordon was born.
After Nora was married with children, Effie lived with them at Nicolas Road, Chorlton.
Effie worked at the YMCA in Manchester.
Effie died 3rd October 1984.
